Johan Gasmich
Johan Gasmich is a Sordish communist revolutionary of Agno-Sordish descent, activist and the founder and leader of the Red Youth.
Gasmich studied in Arvory State School and later at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Lachaven Technical University. He initially supported President Artor Wisci and his national democratic movement, but later changed his view. After reading about Marcian socio-economics, he translated Karlos Marciaโs biography into Sordish.
Inspired by Marcian Socio-economics, Malenyevism and Valgslandian socialism, he founded and led the Socialist Students Association of Lachaven Technical University. In 1927, Gasmich founded the Red Youth and joined the armed resistance against General Luderinโs military takeover.
He admired the guerilla fighters in Rika who fought against colonisation and created a strategy of armed guerilla warfare to achieve what he called the peopleโs revolution. He is suspected to be the person who devised the plan to assassinate General Luderin in 1928 with a group of Red Youth revolutionaries. The attempt failed when Luderinโs soldiers confronted the group and all the activists were killed. He is suspected to be within the group, but managed to escape.
After the Sordish Civil War, Gasmich began his editorial career as the editor-in-chief for the Tussle magazine where he worked together with Denis Stahler. He continued his political life in the struggle for the unification of Sordland's socialist movement.
