Dewlen Arge

2min

Dewlen Arge is a Bludish political leader, a founding member of the militant Bludish Freedom Front (BFF), who has been a political prisoner since his arrest in 1944. He used to be the leader of the BFF between 1935 and 1944. He is being held in the Antel Rock Prison.

According to some sources, Arge was born in a border village between Wehlen and Sordland. During his youth, he was a member of the Republican Youth and supported the revolution against the monarchy in the Kingdom of Sordland. After the fall of the monarchy, he joined the youth wing of the Bludish Freedom Party (BFP) to promote the improvement of the Bludish rights.

After the cancellation of the first ever elections in Sordland by General Luderin and the subsequent civil war in 1927, he wanted to fight against the military coup by joining the Sordish Armed Forces under the leadership of General Rikard, but was denied entry due to his ethnicity. This prompted him to return to Bergia to organize the Bludish populace to also join the civil war with their own militia army, but couldn’t gather a large support.

After the war, he started working in Erzaren as a simple merchant and serving in the local council of the Bludish Freedom Party. When he learned about the plans of the Soll Dam in 1933, he participated in the protests against the construction with other members of the BFP and experienced the Izzam Incident first-hand. After the death of Aschraf and the ban on the BFP, he fled to the village of Zensehir, and along with a group of students, formed an organization called β€˜The Followers of Aschraf.’ They later changed their name to Bludish Freedom Front.

In 1935, Arge took control of the BFF and announced a full-scale Bludish uprising in the region of Bergia. He gained great infamy when his forces took control of Uziren and defended the town against the Sordish Armed Forces for two weeks. Between 1935 and 1944, he was behind many armed attacks against the Sordish military, Sordish police as well as civilians. He was finally arrested in 1944 and was imprisoned in Antel Rock Prison.
