Elena Werner

Elena Werner is the Treasury and Economics Councilor to the King of Rizia.

Born into a middle-class Rizian-Valgish family in the city of Valenqir, she was one of the first beneficiaries of "Lyza's Ladies", an initiative by Queen Lyza Toras to uplift the status of women by placing gifted female students into accelerated study programs. She worked as a secretary for the Rizian Royal Gold corporation, then as an economic development officer for the city of Porte Drazon before assuming the treasury position just before Queen Lyza's death in 1918.

She is credited with keeping Rizia's economy stable in the wake of the 1926 uprising and the Wehlen Civil War, as well as negotiating Rizian trade relations with Rumburg and other neighbors.
