Library of Saint Wruhec
In the year 716, the world-famous library was built by Saint Wruhec and his loyal followers. It is a three-story marble building influenced by ancient Grecan architecture. The library contained the largest source of knowledge in the world.
Records indicate that in the year 1000, around eleven thousand books were stored here. The mission of the Library of Saint Wruhec was to gather and share valuable information. The duty of the librarians was to enlighten visitors no matter their question.
Disaster struck the library during the Markian conquest. While thousands of the most important books were saved from the pillaging Khan, the rest was intentionally burned to the ground by the raiders. The building barely survived and was restored in the late Renan period to serve as a historical site.
