Laren

Laren is known for three things. The famous forest, the local Rumburgian population and its hunters. While most of Agnland boasts of a sea culture this city darest to contrast that with its emphasis on wildlife, hunting and nature. The famous Laren Rangers are known to be one of the best hunters in the region.

While cities like Lenkurg and Arvory enjoy salted salmon, the city of Laren is famous for the tasty deer and moose meat. Among other things Laren has a very important hydroelectric dam that gives the entire city and the surrounding areas electricity for a cheap price. The river source for the dam comes from Rumburg but a deal between Rachaster and Laren ensures that the dam at Rumburg doesn't take away too much water levels, ensuring that there is enough water for all to both drink and produce electricity from.

In the recent years a huge political push from the Laren municipality attempted to draw investment to the area but has failed thus far.
