Gelsland

Gelsland is the smallest region of Sordland, bordering the regions of Nargis, Bergia and Greater Holsord. Its capital is Gelsord. Gelsland is the sixth most populous of Sordland’s seven regions with around 3.5 million inhabitants.
Gelsland has one of the most vibrant economies of the regions of Sordland, just behind Greater Holsord and Gruni. It is home to many factories, research centres and small businesses. It is known as the technology and science center of Sordland due to Gelsord’s leading role in sciences. During the last decade, producing sectors, particularly in the mechanical engineering and electronics industry, experienced substantial growth. The region relies heavily on manufacturing and tourism.
The region is home to the northernmost parts of the Maris forest, that stretches from Gelsord to Sarna. The Markian Sea coast in the east of Gelsland is marked by bays, cliff lines and tiny islands. The famous Antel Rock and the infamous Antel Rock Prison is located here.
