Deivid Wisci is a diplomat, ambassador and politician who serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Sordland. He became a member of the United Sordland Party in 1949 after Tarquin Soll’s resignation. Beside his career, he is known by many through his father, Artor S. Wisci, the founder of the Republic of Sordland.
He entered the service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1923 and worked on many positions at various departments. Between 1925 and 1927, Wisci taught ‘’Applied International Law and Disputes’’ at the faculty of Political Science of Deyr University of Culture. In 1949, he was appointed ambassador to Staalport.
Deivid is still remembered for helping out to 10.000 immigrants of Sordish and Bludish origin while serving as Consul General in Luco, Lespia in 1929. He became a respected name in the diplomatic scene in the Markian region. He has been promoting social democracy and human rights in Sordland for decades. Deivid is also known for criticizing the United Sordland party for oppressing the Bludish people, acknowledging the ‘’Bludish Issue’’ which made him a target for the Sollists and the nationalists. He eventually joined the party during Alphonso’s presidency.
Due to his connection to President Artor S. Wisci, Deivid is still seen as a controversial member of the USP. He is known to be a nonpartisan, and an opponent of Tarquin Soll’s policies. Although he publicly criticizes his own party, he worked closely with Anton Rayne and became the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 1953.
