Daria de Rava

Daria de Rava is the leader of the Rizian National Coalition, the majority party within the House of Delegates, as well as the Baroness of Qaleo. She is a member of House de Rava, a wealthy family based in Rizia Imperii whose construction company played a pivotal role in rebuilding the capital after the War of Rizian Succession. For their efforts, they were rewarded with noble status as well as a permanent position on the Rizia Imperii provincial council. On filling that position in 1933, Baroness de Rava gained notice for pushing the boundaries of what was usually a ceremonial role, diverting wealth from Rizia's "Second Golden Age" to ambitious projects such as Porte Drazon's New Town business district. She gained further influence as a member of the Rizian National Coalition, swiftly climbing the ranks until the party named her House Speaker in 1943. As the majority leader in the House of Delegates, she has largely promoted policies that protect the interests of the monarchy and nobility, such as the exemption of noble landowners from income tax, the granting of judicial privileges to nobles and the censorship of anti-monarchist content in Rizian film and television works.
