Borin is one of the smallest cities in Sordland. It boasts of having the best wine, cheese and people. The city is surrounded by hills and coastal cliffs that create a wonderful scenery for all to enjoy. The people here are indeed friendly, talkative and social.

The city used to be a town settlement founded by migration period Lespian settlers who in the face of pirate attacks from the sea settled up in the hills for better defense. Historical evidence shows that piracy indeed was less damaging after the relocation. It is around this time where the locals discovered that the climate and ground a little higher up the hills was perfect for vineyards.

Hundreds of years later the tradition of wine making continues here with almost little to no change. Even as industrial machines try to automate agriculture the locals here resort to traditional methods. The elders of Borin don't enjoy the waves of tourists coming and disrupting their lives.

The city is dependant on tourism, wine trade and the attention it gets. Therefore, the strategy of the Municipality remains the same.
