Ariana Toras Association
The Ariana Toras Association (ATA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Rizian language and culture abroad. It operates language schools and organizes exchange programs, festivals, discussions and other events in 20 countries worldwide, including Rumburg, Morella and several Xinan and Rikan nations.
It was founded under the reign of Queen Ariana Toras in the years after the War of Rizian Succession, as part of a post-war attempt to restore the country's international reputation and win goodwill from neighbors. The association first established a teacher training facility in Monqiz, offering scholarships to "cultural ambassadors" interested in teaching the Rizian language in their home countries. Music, theater, art and literature branches followed.
The association is government-funded but run autonomously. Its activities are mostly held in positive regard abroad, although it has attracted occasional accusations of "goldwashing" Rizian history and failing to represent the country's modern-day diversity.
