Wruhecism
Wruhecism is one of the two main branches of Nurity, a monotheistic religion centered around the belief in the Divine God and Saint Dast as the divine messenger. Advocating for a more interpretive approach to religious teachings, Wruhecists not only study the teachings of Saint Dast but also those of his disciples, particularly Saint Wruhec, who they believe was divinely appointed as Dast's successor.
A distinguishing characteristic of Wruhecism is its emphasis on 'curiosity' and 'skepticism' as essential components for achieving Golconda, a divinely ordained pillar symbolizing the axis of life that Nurists strive to build in order to attain salvation. Wruhecist teachings underscore the importance of expressing gratitude and bringing joy to others without any expectation of compensation as the primary means to purify one's mind and advance on the Path of Enlightenment.
During a period marked by celestial journeys and divine revelations in 704 CE, Wruhecists observed the Alignment of the Six Stars, a profoundly significant event that Saint Wruhec used as a basis to reinterpret the original Eleven Pillars into Six Core Tenets. This cosmic alignment emphasized a more unified and philosophical foundation for the faith, integrating celestial symbolism into daily practices and beliefs.
One of the branches of Wruhecism is Golcondism, which follows a unique strict interpretation of the faith and emphasizes the importance of Golconda in spiritual life. This branch maintains its own traditions and practices, and is mainly practiced in Derdia, and by the Bludish population, further enriching the religious landscape of Nurity.
Wruhecist sanctuaries are often led by a Wiscerer, a wise person or teacher, instead of a traditional priest. These Wiscerers guide the faithful in understanding and applying the teachings of Saint Dast, Saint Wruhec, and other disciples, promoting a more comprehensive and open approach to the religion. This inclusive perspective has allowed Wruhecism to evolve and adapt to the diverse needs of its followers, fostering a vibrant and dynamic religious community.
