The Ekonomists is a newspaper primarily focused on the financial developments around the world with political analysis related to those subjects. Founded in 1888 it is the primary newspaper read by those interested in the business world.

The newspaper has been criticised for being a proponent of capitalism in Sordland but in response has declared that each piece written is by a different editor and have shown data proving that they have differing opinions. The newspaper has many old economists from the Wisci era as well as new editors from the Alphonso era who were the supporters of the privatisation effort.
