State Educators Corps

1min

The State Educators Corps, also known as Stat Instreter Korp (SIK) in Sordish, was a government organization established in 1931 by the 9th official Presidential Decree of Tarquin Soll. Founded under the initiative of acting education minister Robar Leman and advisors to President Herman Equa, Ionas Crona, and Heron Garaci, the State Educators Corps aimed to promote the values of the new republic, restore peace and unity, and support Sordland's restoration efforts. The central vision of the State Educators Corps was the concept of the Erforzig Citea, which idealized the best qualities in each Sord. Reforged Citizens were expected to help others, maintain peace, protect the Sordland constitution, and report any subversive activities. The organization's charter granted the Stat Instreters the authority to carry out their mission. While the State Educators Corps was de-jure officially under the Presidency, it was de-facto considered one of the political wings of the United Sordland Party. The organization worked closely with local municipalities and the Ministry of Interior, Education, Welfare, and Defense. In 1946, Ewald Alphonso, then Vice President and leader of the USP, began dismantling the old organizations and structures established by the USP, including the State Educators Corps and the Sordish State Corporation Bills. As Alphonso gained power, his focus shifted towards implementing free-market reforms and dismantling some of the more authoritarian aspects of Soll's regime. The State Educators Corps' influence and operations were significantly reduced during Alphonso's tenure as both the Vice President and later as the third President of Sordland from 1949 to 1953. The organization's legacy remains a significant part of Sordland's political history, highlighting the ideological struggle between the old and new guard within the USP and the nation's struggle for unity and stability.
