Founded in 1891, the Sordish State Corporation (SSC) is the main government corporation tasked with running public construction contracts in Sordland. It is one of the two state-owned enterprises among the Big Four. Widely regarded as the most honorable company in the country, it has a long and solid track record of accomplishing critical projects.

In the recent years, the efficiency of the corporation seems to have dropped due to the recession and the somehow corrupt management structure. It is still considered the safest bet for big projects in the minds of many government officials.
