Sordish Petroleum

Founded by the Renan family in 1849 as a state asset, the Sordish Petroleum is the main extractor of oil in Sordland. It is focused in and around Estord, where one of the three largest oilfields in the Merkopa continent lies.

The corporation ran into many issues due to the transitional governments and infighting between Sordish regimes, but has survived many political takeovers due to its strategic importance of fueling the critical transportation and manufacturing requirements of the state. Currently, it still extracts most of the oil needs of the country from the North of Nargis.
