Sordish Armed Forces
Sordish Armed Forces (SAF) are the military forces of the Republic of Sordland. With its headquarters in Holsord, SAF consist of the General Staff, the Land Forces, the Naval forces and the Air Forces. The current chief of the General Staff and the chief of the Armed Forces is General Valken Kruger.
In wartime, the Chief of the General Staff may act as the Commander-in-Chief on behalf of the President. The General Staff also holds the authority to reject a presidentβs candidate for the position of Minister of Defense, and may appoint its own candidate when they deem it necessary.
The Sordish military perceives itself as the guardian of Sollism, the official ideology of the second republic era of the Republic of Sordland.
The Sordish Armed Forces is the fifth largest standing military force in Eastern Merkopa after the Rumburgian Armed Forces. Currently, the military is a conscripted force; males serve in the military upon reaching the age of 18.
