Sollism
Sollism is the founding ideology of the Second Republic era of Sordland which started with Tarquin Sollβs new Constitution. Sollism, as it was promoted by Tarquin Soll after his re-establishment of democracy after the Civil War, was defined by sweeping political, social, cultural and religious reforms designed to separate the new Sordish state from the Republic established in 1923, including state support of the sciences and free education, many of which were first introduced to Sordland during Soll's presidency in his reforms. There are three fundamental pillars of Sollism: Republicanism, Nationalism and Statism. These principles came to be recognized as unchangeable and sacrosanct. After the 1950βs, the connotations of the term started to change as Sollists were started to be seen as puppets of Tarquin Soll with no real ideology but a greed for power. It is also regarded as a fascist ideology by many of the left-wing and the Bludish minority, which was oppressed during the 1930βs when Tarquin Soll ordered their persecution. Sometimes the terms βOld Guardsβ and βSollistsβ are used interchangeably. Sollism is regarded as the state ideology of Sordland and has been preserved by the Sollist politicians and judges who were appointed by Tarquin Soll and allegedly act as members of a deep state called the Old Guards.
