Phelix Bron
Phelix Bron is a Sordish politician who has been serving as the Governor of Bergia since 1941. He is a member of the United Sordland Party. Regarded as a hardline nationalist, he is widely unpopular among the Bludish community living in Bergia. He's known for the violent policies he followed during the fight against the Bludish Freedom Front in the 1930's and is generally credited as the person who arrested Dewlen Arge, the former leader of the BFF. Bron was born in Anrica and after completing his studies at Holsord State University, he joined the ranks of the Kings Intelligence Service. His military career began under General Eduard Luderin. Initially a supporter of Luderin's coup and fighting on his side in the war, he shifted his allegiance to Tarquin Soll during the Battle of Holsord in the Sordish Civil War. Later, Bron transitioned to politics, joining the United Sordland Party (USP.) In 1932, he took on the role as Mayor of Deyr. Initially a moderate on racial issues, Bron adopted a hard-line nationalist stance after the Izzam Incident and the subsequent revolt in Bergia by the Bludish Freedom Front. Bron earned national notoriety when he stood in front of the entrance of the Archsantuary of Deyr with armed policemen, blocking the path of Bludish Nurists and not allowing them to attend the Descension Day rituals in 1934. After the formation of the Special Zone in Bergia in 1935, he was appointed as the head of the Counter-Separatism Unit in the Ministry of the Interior. When Dewlen Arge declared a rebellion in Bergia in 1935, he worked extensively with the governor on the fight against the BFF. In 1941, he was appointed as the Governor of the Special Zone of Bergia by President Tarquin Soll. During his tenure as governor, he promoted industrial development, increased taxes and improved regional law enforcement. He is also credited for the arrest of the BFF leader, Dewlen Arge, due to his massive budget increases of the regional police forces, and leading the operation of his capture. He was later appointed as governor again in 1947 and later in 1953 by President Ewald Alphonso, retaining his position as governor.
