Nelvisar

Nelvisar, a town in northern Cardesse-Montaklar, is a former agricultural community now best known for its eponymous oil field. Discovered in 1895, the substantial reservoir transformed the town into a pivotal player in Rizia's burgeoning energy industry. Nelvisar’s rapid development over the ensuing half-century has been fueled by the influx of workers and businesses attracted to the lucrative opportunities presented by the oil boom.

The presence of the oil field has had a profound impact on Nelvisar's economy and demographics. The Rizian Oil and Gas corporation opened a headquarters here in 1910; this led to a boom in housing and infrastructure development, with new schools, medical facilities, and cultural institutions emerging to cater to the growing population.

With the oil field now on the verge of depletion, Nelvisar’s leaders and ROG representatives are currently in talks about the future of the town and its resources.
