Maroon Palace

The Maroon Palace is where the executive branch of the Sordish government is situated. It was constructed to serve as the summer residence of Albrecht Renan, but quickly became a structure of political importance. The turning point was when the Kingdom of Sordland was announced from the balcony of the palace, reflecting the shift of government power from Erlory to Holsord during the transition period. The Maroon Palace received its name from the maroon painted exterior walls. It has a hundred rooms and several wings housing different branches of executive government. Undearneath the structure is a highly secure situation room where the president is safe from any danger and evaluates any security crisis.
