FC Anrica is a Sordish professional football club based in Anrica, that plays in the Sordish Superliga, the top tier in Sordish football. Founded as Markiansport in 1905, the club changed to various names before settling on being called after its home city in 1923 as FC Anrica. Since 1940, FC Anricaβs home ground has been the Maroon Stadium, nicknamed βThe Hall of Martyrsβ, one of the largest stadiums in Sordland and in all Eastern Merkopa.
FC Anrica is known as a people's club with a huge national support, particularly from the Greater Holsord region. The club has a longstanding rivalry with FC Gelsord. Its anthem is βEye-to-Eye, Tooth-to-Toothβ.
FC Anrica has been playing in the Sordish Superliga since the leagueβs inception in 1944. Since then, the club has won 3 Superliga titles. Internationally, it earned its fame as the runner-ups in the 1950 Merkopan Cup.
