Evelyn Vectern
Evelyn Vectern is a Sordish journalist, author and school teacher who is the wife of Petr Vectern, the current Vice President of Sordland. In 1953, to help support her husband in his political career, she ended her career as a teacher of literature at the prestigious Holsord State High School.
After graduating from the Holsord State University, Vectern started working as an editor in the magazine, Kosmopolit. She married Petr Vectern in 1936.
Vectern later joined the Holsord Post as a journalist where she became known for her pro-government articles throughout the late 1940’s. Simultaneously, she started working as a teacher of literature at the Holsord State High school.
She was expelled from the newspaper after defending Ewald Alphonso and writing about a ‘conspiracy by the state apparatus’. In 1953, she quit her job to support Petr Vectern’s candidacy as the running mate of Anton Rayne.
