Dastnurity is one of the two main branches of Nurity. It advocates a return to the traditions of the Path of Enlightenment, and the strict following of the teachings of Saint Dast, which they believe is the unadulterated, pure form of Nurity.

Practically, Dastnurists ought to directly rely on the Saint Dast’s teachings and the Eleven Pillars of Nurity, while ignoring the rest of Nurist teachings. A key theme in Dastnurists thought is the importance of avoiding ‘impurity,’ while ensuring ‘purity.’ Dastnurists perform rites of purification with the aid of priests in Dastnurist sanctuaries.

One of the holiest sites to Dastnurists is the Archsanctuary of Descension in Deyr.
