Carlos Robles Azaro

General Carlos Robles Azaro, Commander of the Rizian Armed Forces, grew up in Cardesse-Montaklar, where, like all male Azaros, he received military training from a young age. Upon joining the army, he was restricted to administrative duties, serving as an Administrative Officer handling clerical responsibilities.

Carlos’s true potential was revealed during the Reclamation War (1923-1926), specifically at the Battle of Ziqes. When Palesian forces launched a surprise counteroffensive, his brigade was encircled, and the senior officers were wiped out. As the sole surviving officer, a Captain, Carlos assumed command of the entire brigade. Not only did he stop the counteroffensive, but led his troops out of the encirclement, earning him The Star of Valor, Rizia’s highest military honor.

He further demonstrated his leadership during the Uprising of 1926, when he successfully oversaw the defense of Porte Drazon. In 1949, Carlos was appointed Commander of the Rizian Armed Forces after General Taddeus Azaro suffered a debilitating stroke.
