Bergia Steel was founded in 1889 and it is a part of The Big Four, the four largest companies in Sordland. It is the primary steel manufacturer of Sordland and operates mainly in the Bergia region. It also works in steel construction projects and is highly successful due to the experienced architects and engineers they possess.

Bergia Steel has been contracted by Wehlen for several works close to the Sordish border, and this has led many to increase investments and trust due to its potential to rival the state corporations, which mainly dominate the public-sector contracts. Walter Tusk owns a majority stake in the corporation.
