Anton Rayne
Anton Rayne is the fourth president of the Republic of Sordland. Anton Rayne was born in 1908 in the Kingdom of Sordland. After his studies, he served as a private at the border outpost of Gumren during the Wehlen Civil War period. When his mandatory military service ended, Anton joined the USP party in 1931 and worked as an assistant. He brought his close friend Petr Vectern to the party as a helping hand. Anton Rayne rose through the party ranks to become the youngest member of the assembly of the Republic in 1934. In 1938 the first son of Anton Rayne, Franc, was born, followed by his second child and daughter Deana Rayne in 1946. After a period of internal strife inside the USP establishment, Anton and his loyal aide Petr Vectern became the faces of a new party wing. He challenged the party leader Ewald Alphonso in 1953, won the 2nd USP congress, and became the party's leader. He ran as a Presidential candidate with Petr Vectern as his Vice President and won the 1953 elections.
