Antel
Antel is a coastal city that is situated on a high cliff. Nearly all of the city has a great view out to the Markian Sea. Antel, like most other coastal cities was a fishing town, but today fishing has become more of a recreational activity.
The lower middle-class tend to choose the city for holidays as a cheap alternative. During the summer the city looks beautiful from the sea and offers several boat tours along the cliffs and underwater caves. Visitors can spot dolphins, whales and rarely sharks thanks to the mostly untouched sea habitat.
Controversy always seems to find Antel due to the historic maximum-security prison located one kilometre north of the city. Antel Rock is surrounded by water from all sides and is 60 meters above sea level. Protests against the prison are often supported by the Watchtower of Human Rights, Magnus Cartus and the PFJP.
Expectedly, rumours of abuse, torture and rape taint the human rights record of Sordland. The famous film βDiving Through Rockβ was shot here. It depicts the real and only successful escape of prisoners from Antel Rock.
